Still Life Photo Assignment (example)
Photo by: Meg Corts
For my first photo shooting assignment I chose the Still Life category. I took photos . . .
My best photo was the picture of the crayons. I set them up on a mirrored surface and did some creative lighting with a desk lamp and black background. This particular shot was taken using a tripod.
Technical info:
ISO = 400
Aperture = F 4.0
Shutter Speed = 1/60th

Shooting assignment 1 inspiration
For my first photo shooting assignment I have chosen to focus on the subject of MOTION. I am hoping to work on getting better at emphasizing motion in my photographs and adjusting shutter speeds in the camera.
Some photographs that I have found online that I will use as inspiration are by:
Mariano Kamp
Herman AU
and
Alex Stoen
I think these are great examples of motion blurring techniques. Some blur the subject, some blur the background. I love bikes so I think I'm going to try to capture motion blur photos at the next bike event I am at. Wish me luck!
